Description About Budweiser Logo
Download Budweiser Logo Wallpapers – Budweiser, generally in the U.S. as Bud, is a very American brand of beer the brewer Anheuser-Busch Companies.Budweiser is brewed in the U.S. since 1876, inspired by the Pilsner beer, the Bohemian exiles from their home town of Ceske Budejovice brought, and is now the best-selling “premium” beer brand in the U.S.. Besides Bud has existed since 1982 a “light” version: Bud Light is the market leader since 1994, among the light beers in the U.S.. Other beers in the Budweiser family of brands are Budweiser Select, Bud Dry, Bud Ice and Bud Ice Light.
In Ceske Budejovice (České Budějovice since 1919) has been brewed since 1795, Budweiser Burgerbrau of German Bohemia, and in 1895, Budweiser Budvar, a public company tschechischsprachiger Bohemia. By intercontinental exports and the protection of naming rights came in 1907 “Budweiser dispute”, in which the manufacturer agreed not to sell on the continent each other than Budweiser. Anheuser-Busch may therefore at least in Austria and Germany no longer sell its beer as Budweiser. Caused by war and German occupation, but especially for expropriation by the communists after 1945, lost, or waive the standing state-controlled Czech breweries, however, naming rights, especially on the German terms such as Budweiser. Since 1990, the Czechs partly successful effort to have granted rights to the designation of origin in several languages, at least in Europe.
The short form “Bud” could not be used by Anheuser-Busch in Europe for a long time, because of the confusion to “bit” of the Bitburger brewery. On the occasion of the soccer World Cup in 2006 was allowed to market its beer, Anheuser-Busch, but as “Bud”, and in return was the only German Bitburger beer brand in the stadiums. In October 2006, Anheuser-Busch, however, won a lawsuit against the Bitburger Brauerei Th Simon GmbH, with the tenor that the distinctive character is sufficient. In July 2010 the European Court ruled definitively that Anheuser-Busch’s “Budweiser” in the EU could not be protected, as the Czech brewery had the older rights to the name and trademark rights in some EU countries already lawfully in possession are of Budweiser Budvar.
